Healthier Pancakes

If you're working toward a healthier, fitter lifestyle, you may think that pancakes are off limits. As a personal trainer, my professional and personal experience has been that denying yourself foods you enjoy often ends up backfiring. The bottom line when making changes to how you eat is, "Can you happily live with this change for the rest of your life?"


Instead of taking the all (the pancakes, everyday) or none approach, what are your options? You can and should have less healthy foods that you enjoy on occasion, as long as you are striving toward and eating healthy most of the time. Outside of this, what else can we do? Let's look at our recipe, experiment a bit, and see if we can bump up the nutrition factor for our pancakes. I've done some tinkering for you so that you don't have to.
