This time of year can be tricky for those of us who have a sweet tooth that sometimes struggles with our efforts to eat better. Whether it's the bowl of candy leftover from Halloween, the pies after the Thanksgiving feast, or the batches of holiday cookies, there are A.LOT.OF.TEMPTATIONS!

Let's take it one step at a time and start with Halloween. Did you end up with more candy than trick or treaters, or did your kids bring home more loot than they could comfortably consume before the end of the year?
